KnowDays provides cultural insights inspired by traditional Chinese metaphysics, including Bazi (Eight Characters), I Ching, and other ancient divination systems. All content is intended for entertainment, self-reflection, and cultural appreciation. It does not constitute medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Your destiny is ultimately in your own hands.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using KnowDays ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

KnowDays is a mobile application that offers:

  • Daily fortune analysis based on traditional Chinese calendar systems.
  • Bazi (Eight Characters) natal chart analysis.
  • I Ching (Meihua Yishu) divination.
  • Qi Men Dun Jia chart casting and interpretation.
  • Dream analysis based on traditional Chinese dream interpretation.
  • Chinese almanac (Huangli) daily guidance.
  • Monthly and annual fortune reports.
  • Auspicious date selection for important events.

All features are powered by algorithmic calculations and AI-generated interpretive text. The App supports four languages: English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Bahasa Indonesia.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or exploit the referral system.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Virtual Currency & Paid Features

4.1 Points System

The App uses an internal points system ("Points") to access premium features such as AI-powered analysis. Points may be:

  • Purchased via in-app purchase (IAP) through Apple or Google.
  • Earned through daily check-ins, referrals, or promotional events.

Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for real currency.

4.2 Subscription & Reports

Premium fortune reports (monthly/annual) are available as one-time purchases via IAP. Access is tied to your account and non-transferable.

4.3 Refund Policy

  • Apple App Store: Refund requests are handled by Apple. Please visit Apple's refund policy page for details.
  • Google Play: Refund requests are handled by Google. Please visit Google Play's refund policy page for details.
  • We do not process refunds directly. All IAP transactions are managed by the respective platform.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, code, algorithms, and AI-generated content, is owned by KnowDays.
  • City and timezone data is sourced from GeoNames under the CC-BY 4.0 license.
  • Traditional Chinese metaphysics concepts (Bazi, I Ching, Qi Men Dun Jia, etc.) are part of the cultural commons and are not proprietary.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the App or its content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT PROVIDED THEREIN ARE OFFERED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Specifically:

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any fortune analysis, divination result, or AI-generated interpretation.
  • The App does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Any resemblance to professional advice is coincidental.
  • Fortune scores and predictions are algorithmically generated based on traditional metaphysical formulas and should not be used as the sole basis for life decisions.
  • We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KNOWDAYS AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's servers or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App.
  • Misrepresent the App's content as professional advice.
  • Harass, defame, or abuse other users or the development team.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months.
  • We discontinue the service (with 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification).

Upon termination, you may request a data export within 30 days. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) for binding arbitration.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the App after changes are effective constitutes acceptance.
